Job Summary:

  • Assess and analyze the current IT infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy, including short-term and long-term objectives, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine infrastructure requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, security systems, and data centers.
  • Oversee the selection, procurement, and deployment of new hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and integration with existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices for IT infrastructure, including data protection, privacy, and security.
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and guidelines, including disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Job Description:

  • Microsoft 365: Proficiency in the deployment, management, and optimization of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Windows Servers: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, such as routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP).
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, including the deployment and management of virtual machines and virtualized environments.
  • Cloud computing: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience migrating, deploying, and managing infrastructure and services in the cloud.
  • Security: Familiarity with security best practices and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint protection.
  • Storage: Understanding of storage technologies and concepts, including SAN, NAS, and object storage, as well as experience managing and optimizing storage infrastructure.
  • Backup and recovery: Experience with backup and recovery solutions, and the ability to develop and implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Automation and scripting(optional): Familiarity with automation tool like PowerAutomate or scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Technical expertise: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and security systems.
  • Project management: Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including planning, executing, and monitoring progress.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement IT Infrastructure aligned to organization objectives.
  • Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions.
  • Risk management: Experience in risk assessment and mitigation, including business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
  • Change management: Ability to manage and minimize disruption to business operation during updates, upgrades, or migrations.
