Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily account operation activities, process supplier transactions and operating expenses.
  • Responsible for reconciling monthly suppliers' statement, statement of financial position and statement of profit and loss, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, feasibility study for expansion, analyzing variances, developing improvements, follow up on unrecorded supplier invoices and credit note.
  • Prepare payments in accordance with payment cycle.
  • Prepare and submit various monthly financial reports for management.
  • Responsible for general ledgers, journal entries and timely closing of monthly account.
  • Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed and maintained.
  • Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, preparation of spreadsheet, reports and correspondence as required.
  • Ensure the accounts are worked and followed-up thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with suppliers, auditors, tax agents, legal advisors, company secretaries, bankers, and other relevant authorities.
  • Design, plan, implement and improve the accounting and financial policies and procedure.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
  • To work closely with other departments to ensure the data accuracy of capturing into accounting system.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by the superior or management from time to time.

    Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or higher.
  • Candidate with full set accounting knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Candidate with retail industry account experiences will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Knowledge in SQL system.
  • Preferred Language: English, Malay, Mandarin (We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.)
  • Having self-initiative at work, meticulous, strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and under pressure with tight deadline.
