Manager/ Assistant Manager- Finance & Asset Liability Management

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and manage the accounting records, including accounts entries, bank reconciliations and fixed assets records.
• Processing payments to internal and external parties.
• Perform analysis of operating costs across all departments and branches in the Bank.
• Ensure prompt and timely closing of accounts.
• Assist in taxation related with tax advisors including tax computations, reporting, payments and compliance matters.
• Opportunity to participate in other Finance functions which include accounting, taxation, budgets formulation, financial reporting and analysis, procedures formulation and implementation and etc.
• To ensure strict compliance of the Policy, Procedure and Manual of the Bank, Bank Negara Malaysia, other regulators and ICBC Head Office issued from time to time.
• Be primary responsible in managing compliance risk inherent in day-to-day activities, processes and systems for which it is accountable.
• To undertake any ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Head of Department and/or the Senior Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess at least a recognized Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/MICPA).
• 3 – 5 years of related working experience in finance operations and taxation. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge in accounting system would be an added advantage.
• Detailed, attention to quality of deliverables and ability to demonstrate initiatives.
• Well-versed in Microsoft application (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to learn and work in a multitasking environment.
