Our client “⁠ANM Associates" is seeking a Senior Accountant 高级会计师 to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

Maintain and ensure the utmost accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received;
Review and post journal entries to record financial transactions.
Perform account closing procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting standards;
Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner;
Ensure Financial Statement is produced in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation for external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary;
Maintain proper documentation and internal controls to ensure audit readiness.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accounting procedures;
Implement best practices to enhance accuracy and streamline workflows;
Providing strategic advice to clients on optimizing their business processes.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide guidance on financial matters to the client;
Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Who are they looking for?

At least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or equivalent OR a professional qualification under MICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent;
Candidates with working experience in accounting are encouraged to apply, even if they do not meet the formal qualification requirements;
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably with 1-2 years (s) of managerial experience;
Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail and resourcefulness;
Ability to multitask and work independently, demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking and self-motivation;
Proactive attitude and strong analytical skills;
Excellent client relationship and time management skills;
High integrity, excellent work ethics, and a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline;
Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a positive attitude;
Willingness to work in a cloud and fast-paced environment;
Knowledge of Intuit Quickbooks Online (QBO) and Xero is an added advantage;
Tech-savviness with knowledge of Google Applications and proficiency in using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are added advantages;
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak and write Mandarin will be an added advantage.
