JOB DESCRIPTION (ASSISTANT OPERATION MANAGER)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Operation Manager to support the daily operations of all branches, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR function and strategy including staff management, recruitment, payroll, performance management, training and development, etc.
  • Assist in managing inventory of medical supplies, consumables and equipment for all branches, including checking orders, monitoring stock level, etc.
  • Provide support to administrative staff to ensure smooth processing of business-related licenses and permits, proper maintenance of premises, assets and equipment, etc.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes, identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, and reporting.
  • Train and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive team environment and assist with conflict resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in ophthalmology or a related specialty is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
