Job Summary:
The Sales Associate - Used Car Trade-In you will be responsible for handling trade-ins and purchasing used cars from customers. You'll work closely with Sales Advisors to make the trade-in process smooth and efficient. This role involves evaluating cars, negotiating trade-in deals, and building strong relationships with Sales Advisors and other partners like car dealers. About your role
- Daily visit to the New Car Showroom to assist them in used car disposal.
- Actively recruit new sales agents to expand business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with Sales Advisors, car dealers, and other external stakeholders to drive business growth and secure quality trade-ins.
- Act as the primary point of contact for trade-in inquiries and issues, providing prompt and professional support.
- Collaborate with sales advisors to identify and pursue trade-in opportunities that align with sales targets and objectives.
- Guide customers through the sales process including presenting and negotiating prices.
- Address customer concerns and objections effectively.
- Assist with the arrangement of car inspections and handovers upon customer request.
- Work closely with other related departments and in-line with SOP.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Always keep up with the changes in process flows and campaigns by the management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or business development, preferably with trade-in or used car transactions.
- Strong understanding of the automotive market and vehicle valuation processes.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with various external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using automotive evaluation tools and software.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Candidates fluent in Mandarin and English preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin and English-speaking clients.
Salary Package
Basic + Allowance (fix) + Incentive Scheme (per unit) + Incentive Team (RM1500) = Average Gross Salary (up to RM5k - RM10k)
