RTR Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

The Record To Report (RTR) Analyst executes the daily General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Banking or Treasury processes and functions which include Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP), whilst ensuring adherence to the Group’s policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bank reconciliations.
• General ledger journals for input into SAP.
• General administration and month end tasks as required.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Reconciliation of Control Accounts, Provision and Prepayments.
• Fixed Assets Register reconciliation to general ledger, Fixed Assets addition, depreciation run and fixed assets adjustment journals.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, and ensure the completion of general administration and month end tasks as required.
• Prepare analysis for balance sheet items at month end, to ensure major accruals and provisions are properly accounted for and on a timely basis.
• Ensure variances in reconciliations are minimised, such as bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation and other accruals reconciliation schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification (ACCA/CPA etc). Candidates who are pursuing Professional Qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of experience in RTR
• Added advantage if you are well-versed with SAP.
• Demonstrate understanding of local taxation requirements.
• Possess accounting skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Highly developed self-management skills, including time management.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
