Senior Supervisor - Operation

Coach and leading a team

• Lead Warehouse Supervisors, Tallyman, forklift Driver, Cleaner(Housekeeping) & Blue Collar Contract Worker.

• Coach, supervise and motivate a team of subordinates.

• Ensure staff is trained on accuracy, inventory, space utilization and safety procedures.

Inventory Control

• Control inventory levels by reviewing data recorded in system, retrieving data, designing reports and taking cor-

rective actions.

• To ensure proper record keeping & document reconciliation.

• Maintains historical record keeping by tracing historical records of items to determine reasons for discrepancies

between inventory and stock control records.

• Involved in cycle count and stock count.

• Ensure all discrepancies are investigated and reported accordingly.

• Corrective and preventive actions are to be documented for the discrepancies.

• Proper record of damaged product during container un-stuffing and reported accordingly.

Operation Process

• Closely communicate and discussion with CS for proper planning of inbound/import containers.

• Coordinate and execute all planning with Planner.

• Ensure Truck movement in/out from warehouse as per planning.

• Monitor container un-stuffing process, receiving into warehouse system and put away to location.

• Monitor and supervise outgoing of cargo.

• Closely communicate with Customer on outbound truck delivery progress and planning.

• Ensure Housekeeping been maintain in daily basis and up to Customer expectation & KPI.

• Perform other task as required by the Management and other job related functions as at when required.

• Knowledge in customs formalities.

Reporting and Documentation

• Ensure meets Customer KPI.

• Provide visibility of daily inbound and outbound planning to Customer.

• Provide periodic reports to customers.

• Provide periodic operation and productivity reports to Manager.

• Resolve customer request, questions and complaints.

• Provide Housekeeping report.

• Other or additional documentation required.

QHSE Compliance

• Promote safe working environment and best safety practices.

• Lead & Ensure truck movement, MHE movement is safe, example ensuring wheel stopper placed by Driver.

• Report and investigate incident with route cause and proactive measure to avoid similar incident.

• Lead & Ensure warehouse Safety rules followed by all Warehouse Staff.

• Lead Gemba safety walk & Gemba Security walk in weekly basis.

• Actively participate & leading Weekly HSSE Discussion and present Gemba Report.

• Overseeing the whole warehouse and ensure that the company’s standards and procedures are being met and fol-lowed.

• Ensure Comply with all local authority safety regulation.

• Support all company QHSE promotions and initiatives.

• Liaise as necessary with the relevant government departments and private bodies.

• Ensure Security Guard following the SOP.

• Ensure Contractor performing works is complied with Maersk HSSE requirement.

• Immediate action plan, in the event of an accident, dangerous occurrence, or a risk of imminent and serious injury or harm to the health of any person at the workplace.

Facility & Maintenance • Monitor and record any asset damages

• Report and claim, example if damages due to Truck mishandling.

• Monitor and record schedule maintenance, example Water sprinkler & Pump room.

• Schedule Gemba inspection on building & Facility.

• Lease with Maintenance Vendor on the repair works.
