Job Summary

A 3D Modeler works within a team of artist to create 3D assets which includes modeling, environment modeling and texturing; and is a passionate and dedicated Modeler who dictates high proficiency in Maya and Zbrush. A 3D modeler can maintain and manage a high level of quality while working in a rapid and timely manner environment; has advanced/intermediate modeling texturing and animating experience in addition to knowledge of art processes and production pipeline.

Job responsibilities:

  • Create high-end 3D hard surface and organics modeling base on concept design as required by superior within timely manner.
  • Apply material and texture on geometry based on the design.
  • Create shaders as required by the design.
  • Collaborate with the modeling team to create a model that meets technical needs.
  • Work with animators to design motion controls.
  • Communicate new tools and techniques to teammates of the department.
  • Set up skeletons on characters as required.
  • Work with management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines set by the production team.
  • Meet up to the companys quality and standards.
  • Assist recruitment team in school visitation, studio visitation and recruitment process.
  • Ad-hoc tasks that is required.


Job requirements:

  • Minimum five (5) years of 3D modeling experience;
  • Excellent organizational and management skills;
  • Ability to work efficiently with various personalities and different work styles;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • High level of initiative, flexibility and confidence;
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at a time while remaining efficient and mindful of strict deadlines in a high pressure environment;
  • Self-motivated, great team-player, and able to effectively collaborate with game artist, programmers and the production team
  • Must have a strong understanding with Zbrush, Maya, Unreal Engine and Substance Painter.


Beneficial skills:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in an artistic position.
  • Experience or base knowledge of scripting languages, shade materials and in-game assets management.
