To be successful as an admin assistant, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. Admin assistants must be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, admin assistants should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

Admin Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Handling office tasks, such as filing and reordering supplies.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Maintain vendor listing, Fixed Asset listing
  • Prepare and monitor Purchase Order, Memo
  • Inventory control
  • Coordinate repairs to office equipment

Admin Assistant Requirements:

  • At least Diploma in Business Studies/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years working experience
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail.
  • Multitasking
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Valid driver’s license
