Job Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions:
-Ensure accuracy and completeness in all financial records.
Financial Reporting:
-Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and Cash flow statements.
-Generate periodic financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
-Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
-Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to support financial decision-making.
Compliance:
-Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
-Assist in the preparation for audits and collaborate with auditors during the audit process.
Financial Analysis:
-Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
-Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
Cash Management:
-Manage cash flow by monitoring and forecasting cash needs.
-Coordinate with other departments to optimize working capital.
Taxation:
-Assist in the preparation for tax returns and collaborate with tax agents and ensure Compliance with Tax Regulations.
-Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
Process Improvement:
-Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting and finance functions.
-Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration:
-Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and operations, to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
Professional Development:
-Stay current with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
-Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Job Requirements:
- Professional Certificate/ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 5 year(s) of working experience in related field.
- Experience with the UBS System is considered an added advantage.
- Computer literate in MS Windows and Office.
- Good personality and communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
- Attention to details, meticulous, tactful, good interpersonal skill and independent with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and trustworthy in handling sensitive/ confidential matters.
