Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations of the Group and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the business in order to derive clear and succinct analyses of the ongoing business and financial performance of operations.
  • Oversees of the full spectrum of finance duties, including banking & treasury; accounting & reporting; financial planning & analysis; cash flow management, and assisting in business decision-making for all the operating companies within the Group.
  • Initiates, directs and co-ordinate the preparation of group financial reporting including consolidation on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
  • Implements and maintains accounting system, internal controls and working procedures for the entire group of companies.
  • Liaison with external auditor, tax agent, bankers and other statutory bodies.
  • Initiates, directs and co-ordinate the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecast.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion and compliance with all relevant statutory reporting to ensure good corporate governance, on a quarterly basis.
  • Evaluates the organizations financial and business performance and provide analysis and interpretation of the performance as well as input / recommendations to management on a monthly basis.
  • Provides analysis report to compare the variance of actual performance and budget on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure an effective management of payable, receivable and cash balance.
  • Provides support to senior management on business/commercial and operational matters/issues, leading / driving special projects, as and when required.
  • Selects, hires, motivates and develops subordinates to ensure optimum effectiveness and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Degree in Finance/ Accounting or professional accountancy qualification – ACCA/MICPA/CIMA.
  • Members of MIA or government recognized professional body.
  • At least 10 year(s) of relevant working experience in similar capacity.
  • Working experience in FMCG environment is preferred.
  • Background experience in operational finance & finance business partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills as well as problem solving with strong financial judgement
  • Possess leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills and able to lead a team
  • Having initiative attitude and prepare to work long hours.
  • Initiative to complete tasks on timely.
  • Able to work independent and self-motivated
  • Good command of English, Malay and Chinese.
