Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Business Development Manager, Finished Lubricants

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with management to build up business plan to achieve yearly target and execute the plan
  • Build a pipeline of prospects for the industrial sectors in Malaysia
  • Liaise with the supplier to sell Lubricants to the targeted sectors / customers
  • Identify cross selling opportunities with other Brenntag BUs
  • Liaise with different functional BUs including supply Chain, Controllers, Finance and HR for updating AR status, product demand forecast , etc.
  • Perform frequent visits to existing customers and prospect customers to follow up sales orders , technical support, AR , inventory forecast, etc.
  • Support BU Director on business development projects/ opportunities in Malaysia.



YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s Degree Level, in any discipline
  • Minimum 10 years Sales & Marketing experience or relevant work experience in Lubricants or Energy industry.
  • Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision
  • Able to communicate and work effectively at executive, mid-level management and operating levels and customer organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with an understanding of profit and loss statements
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to work effectively in a multi-culture environment
  • Able to travel as required to achieve business objectives
  • Proficiency in English is essential, fluent in any SEA language is an added advantage
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong customer and supplier orientation
  • Business and market know-how
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skill
  • Passionate about being an ambassador for the brand Brenntag is carrying
