Job Responsibilities:
- To plan, implement, and monitor logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective distribution of goods.
- To manage transportation schedules, routes, and carriers to optimize delivery times and reduce costs.
- To oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure accuracy.
- To establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to negotiate contracts and resolve issues.
- To ensure all necessary documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance is completed accurately and promptly.
- To track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of logistics operations and implement improvements as needed.
- To address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- To monitor and control logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively.
- To ensure all logistics activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- To prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs to senior management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of transportation and inventory management principles.
