About the role:

As the Regional Project Manager People/HR for APAC&MEA, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects (of various sizes) that aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of People processes. You will manage multiple projects at a time, ensuring alignment with the organization´s goals and securing successful delivery from start to end. You will collaborate closely with global and regional project management and change management colleagues, as well as people across the entire People organization. You are expected to manage multiple stakeholders, embrace agile ways of working and drive continuous improvement.

The role will report operationally to the People Services and Solutions Director APAC&MEA.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing People/HR projects (with country/regional/global impact) to successful completion within designated parameters, ensuring that all aspects of the project align with the organizational goals
  • Support/lead change management activities
  • Stakeholder engagement: proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Review, analyze, measure and support projects and initiatives in the region (PMO)
  • Support in developing and adhering to standards and processes for Project Management in the People function
  • Support in managing resources for projects, leveraging synergies between the projects
  • Delivering training and mentoring employees in People function growing project management skills

Desired Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Recognized project management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably within an HR context or 4 years experience in HR function with proven record of leading projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • People/HR process knowledge and understanding of dependencies across processes (beneficial with exposure to different areas as projects will span over multiple process areas)
  • Good understanding of HCM tools
  • Continuous improvement mindset : Lean, Six Sigma, Keizen, Onbeat or implementation of impactful Continuous Improvement actions will be an asset
  • Fluent English
