Job Purpose:

  • Assist in formulating business plans and work towards achieving the company targets and financial goals.
  • Overall operations and servicing of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory & company guidelines.
  • Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategies, supervise subordinates, and assist in managing overall operations in achieving the department’s goals and targets.
  • Manage renewal, placement of risks, collections, and documentation.
  • Client servicing including claims handling.
  • Implement marketing strategies and identify and develop prospects and new business opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining business relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and clients to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Attending to credit control matters and reconciliations.
  • Attend to periodical management and statutory reporting as required.
  • Assisting management in all other official matters assigned and any other assignment allocated from time to time.
  • Qualification/Knowledge/Job Requirement:

  • Minimum academic qualification with Degree/AMII /ACII or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the General Insurance /Reinsurance and/or related fields.
  • Sound knowledge of the current General Insurance/ Reinsurance Landscape including Treaty and Captive.
  • Good networking in the reinsurance market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have integrity and a high sense of ethical responsibility.
