Senior Country Manager (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore)

Are you passionate about helping businesses grow through outstanding technology? If you’re looking to join a team who brings technology and booking solutions to travel agents, this role is for you!

Expedia TAAP (Travel Agent Affiliate Program) is laser-focused on helping our travel agents grow. We are looking for candidates who want to supercharge growth bring to bear our data & tools and their expertise in the Southeast Asia travel agency landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of high performing TAAP sales representatives
  • Nurture & maintain an in-depth knowledge of TAAP performance in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore
  • You will look for opportunities to bring on new travel agencies as well as increase our participation with existing ones
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with top travel agencies, consortia, and travel agency networks
  • Guide our general sales agency to build and implement strategies and grow the business through the local team
  • Bridge the gap between the team on the ground and the leadership team, to share market insights and help define priorities
  • Convert knowledge into growth strategy
  • Source and present insightful data including performance, market, and competitor analysis, to implement meaningful action plans based on the data
  • Implement your plans to hit targets and support strategic objectives
  • Travel required approximately once a month for partner visits

Who You Are

  • Highly fluent in English, Chinese and Bahasa
  • 2+ years of People Management Experience
  • Proven and confirmed experience in a travel agency-facing role or in an account management role in travel
  • A leader of people and motivator for the people you work with
  • A passion for digging through data points to understand complex problems and an understanding of how these can become growth opportunities
  • Knowledge of the travel space in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia
