JOB SUMMARY
Provide leadership and mentorship to the Planning Team. Plan and optimize capacity and resources in order to meet customer demand and deliveries. Support performance review, development and succession planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate factory capacity constraints vs customer demand;
• Lead discussion on the plan of customer demand and ensure that plans are made with realistic assumptions on working times, production lead times, shipment lead times, etc;
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer’s orders are produced and delivered on time;
• Liaise with logistic department on the problematic shipping documents to ensure accurate and smooth
• shipment to customer;
• Liaise with finance department on the problematic invoices to ensure smooth payment processing;
• Prepare monthly inventory report for customer.

Authority:

  • Senior/Manager, Planning or as dedicated by Management;
  • Review production master planning before release to production;
  • Review and authorize reporting submission to Customer;
  • Approve MRP loading.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma in years of experience / Degree in relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 7 years of related working experience or equivalent.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills;
  • Good communication skills, work independently and able to work under tight construction schedule;
  • Creative and with strong analytical skills;
  • Dynamic team player who is willing to take up new challenges, self-motivated and result-oriented;
  • SAP savvy.
