To help grow the consumer business in Malaysia and to be responsible for developing and executing consumer business plans to help ensure profitability of company. To be responsible for the achievement of sales targets of assigned customers; accountable for the trade investment management and implementation of in-store promotion and merchandising activities, in accordance with company and procedures and under supervision of the Channel Lead

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and is responsible for aggressive sales growth targets with the assigned key accounts
  • Responsible for the profitability and growth of the assigned key accounts
  • Manage and develop key accounts through joint business planning and execution of marketing & promotional plan
  • Conduct negotiations with assigned key accounts and implement trade promotion cycle strategies
  • Achieve high brand visibility and full distribution of Galderma’s portfolio of products in assigned key accounts
  • Quarterly business review/meetings with assigned key accounts to build rapport and obtain market insights
  • Manage total trade spend in assigned accounts to target investment levels
  • Monitor promotional effectiveness, analyses ROI and adjust plans accordingly
  • Manage and develop sales force effectiveness and tasks for sales team, ensure that a high professional standard is achieved, and the sales targets and KPI targets are met.
  • Responsible for building Sales and Marketing plan with product management team and ensure seamless execution
  • Establish close liaison with Product/Brand management to explore new products and other business opportunities, promotions, discounts, pricing, trade deals and marketing related activities and functions
  • Monitor assigned inventory levels of customers and anticipate & correct shortfalls
  • Involve in the inventory forecast planning.
  • Adherence to Galderma Code of ethics and HCP Compliance standards
  • Adhere to Galderma RA/QA/PV/MA policy
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects, as and when required

Job requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of work experience in managing a major customer/account from FMCG sector
  • Experience in trade operations and category development or marketing is an advantage
  • Good analytical and leadership skills
  • Ability to improve continuously with creative and resourceful problem solving.
  • Good level of communication (oral and written) in English
