Purpose:

  • Focus is on driving Dockers brand equity and supporting business results in Malaysia.
  • Responsible for planning and executing all marketing programs in support of the Dockers brand and business with a special focus on driving traffic and conversion to Dockers Retail stores.
  • Reports to Dockers Europe and AMA Marketing Lead
  • In the Marketing team works closely with Malaysia Levi’s Marketing team and the Dockers Europe Marketing team especially with Dockers Europe Brand Environment Manager, Dockers Europe Trade Marketing Manager and Dockers Europe PR & Social Media Manager
  • Key-stakeholders: Dockers Commercial Operations lead for AMA, Dockers Merchant AMA and Malaysia Retail team

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers 360 marketing plans that drive equity, traffic, and conversion.
  • Puts the consumer at the center keeps a close eye on emerging trends and a good understanding of consumers behavior, KOL’s and media consumption.
  • Ensures that effective and efficient seasonal PR & social media plans focused on both global and locally relevant stories and launches are put in place.
  • Develops and nurtures a strong network of KOLs that increase brand visibility and drive store traffic. Ensures the right product, content and experiences are seeded to Media and KOL’s at the right time.
  • Delivers growth and engagement of Dockers social media communities on Instagram with Global and local relevant content and experiences.
  • Negotiates, plans, and executes marketing plans with media agency and shopping malls that drive store traffic.
  • Ensures consistent and elevated brand presentation in Dockers Stores by ensuring correct delivery and implementation of Windows, POS and VM guidelines.
  • Smooth sell-in of seasonal marketing plans with key stakeholders. Core partner for sales and merchandising in account facing meetings and strategy sessions.
  • Agency management: organizes seasonal briefs, trainings, weekly follow ups and ensures agencies have all the needed assets and information.
  • Budget Management: defines the best investments, handles Purchase Order creation, reporting and timely invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Fashion, Communication, Marketing or equivalent in experience
  • 5 years’ experience in marketing in lifestyle brand/industry
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Agile thinker, innovative with a can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Eager to learn, proactive attitude, “hands on”, good organizational skills
  • Experience in PR & social media and/or trade marketing highly valued
  • Proficient in English
  • Team player
  • 12 months contract (renewable)
