Job Description

Establish IT policies, strategies and standards for the IT department.
Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits.
Design and customize technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience.
Plan the implementation of new systems and provide guidance to IT professionals and other staff within the organization.
Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with IT providers.
Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
Direct and organize IT-related projects.
Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage.
Analyze the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.
Digitalisation of the campuses.
Adoption and implementation of digital technology.
Integration of digital wallet/e-wallet into campuses.
Establishment of e-marketplace platforms.
Provide strategic leadership in Group projects’ implementation pertaining to digitalisation initiatives, both internally within the team and externally (inter departments).

Qualifications

Degree in Computing or Information Technology.
Minimum 10 years related working experience in software or hardware projects.
Experience in education industry would be an added advantage.
Excellent business & software development skill and technical knowledge in computing.
Pro-active and self motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as participate within the team.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, possess a mature attitude and a good team player.
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and abilities.
Possess own transport as this job requires minimal travelling.
