Finance Manager

GENERAL

• To perform all duties and responsibilities applicable for this position and Any other function as may be assigned by Management from time to time

  Job Purpose

  • To perform periodic closure of financial accounts, and to prepare relevant financial analysis for the effective financial management of the business management
  • To ensure appropriate financial reporting systems and internal control procedures are in place and in line with approved financial reporting standards, and internal operating requirements

    Job Description

    • Responsible for period and account closing activities, ensure timely submission of accurate financial report and preparation of management of the business management.
    • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis on outlet performance, Company Level P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
    • Maintain accurate and complete record for all capital expenditure to ensure tax allowance are maximized.
    • Anylze and review inventory levels at the outlets and where house
    • Ensure internal control, policies and procedures are followed and financial report are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard.
    • Assist in the preparations of annual, bugged and periodic forecast exercise.
    • Liaise with the tax agent, auditor and other regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documentation.
    • Review and update task level descriptions and financial process manuals as and when there are changes to manage knowledge retention and to support/back up finance operation team members when required.
    • Assist and support the training and development of team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and manage the team performance.
    • Knowledge in F&B line is advantage

To be an effective Finance Manager, an individual must be:

• Able to handle full set account with strong & proven analytics skill
• Possessed Professional Accountancy Qualification e.g: CPA/ACCA/CFA/CIMA or equivalent
• Strong Accounting and up to date knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.
• Knowledge of Companies Act and relevant tax laws e.g Corporate & Income Tax and SST
• SQL, Microsoft Office, Banking, F&B, Develop
• Good with number
• Required language(s): English, Mandarin

• The salary for this position is up to RM 10k monthly.
