Head of IT Solution Delivery
Overall Solution Delivery Management and Support
Facilitate Head of Division in providing IT solutions delivery (design & architecture) matters and produce reports, documentation, information, status updates as and when required for managing Stakeholders, Managements, and users.
Evaluate the business request, Change Request (CR), Service Request (SR) and Project Change Request (PCR) and determine the IT architecture solutions which
covers infrastructure, systems and applications.
Develop / assist / train / facilitate / communicate / reports / monitor the IT resources, productivity and well-being of the Bank’s systems and applications.
Solution Design and Architecture
Contribute to the design and architecture of IT solutions, ensuring the team align with business objectives and comply with IT standards.
Provide technical expertise and guidance during the solution development process.
Align and work closely with the group EA team.
Risk, Compliance and Audit matters
Identify potential risks and challenges in the delivery process and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Proactively address issues that may impact the successful delivery of solutions
Performance Management Compliancy
To facilitate/manage/assist/updates/monitor the team/unit/individual Key Performance Index (KPI) based on Operational and/or Project task assignment.
Project Implementation and Support
Assist/facilitate/execute in the implementation of related Project(s) initiatives and assignments.
Assist/execute/facilitate the entire Project Management lifecycle, scope of deliverables and timeline starting from Prototyping, Project Planning and
Executions until the Project Closure.
Establish communication between Technology and BUs/users, project team members and external parties as an overall single point of contact for Project
implementation.
Monitor, update, report and highlight Project Progress, Project Budget, Payment Milestones and Resolutions according to the project reporting governance and
structure.
Assist/facilitate/develop and define Project Organization Chart, resources’ roles and responsibilities involving stakeholders, customers, vendors, and project team members.
Highlight, register, monitor Project Quality of Deliverables, Issues, Risk, PostMortem and Post Implementation Review (PIR).
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for delivered solutions, including technical specifications, user manuals, and implementation guides.
Continuous Improvement
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Continuously assess and improve the delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Minimum Possess a recognized Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 5-year experience in managing IT governance and resources team/unit/department.
Well verse in Financial Industry Regulatory requirements (i.e: Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commissions Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia)
Knowledge of Solution Design/Architecture, Project Management Framework/Cycles, IT Governance Frameworks, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),
Operational/Business Service and Support.
Ability to interact with all level within the organization.
Positive thinking, good work ethics and team-player.
Positive Attitude – Leadership, Management, Decision Making, Creativity self-motivated, goal-oriented, confident, flexible, adaptable to a fast-working environment, independent, work well with others to meet deadlines.
Strong customer centric approach and ability to perform under pressure.
Experience in Functional Planning & Budgeting, Strategic Orientation.
Possess own initiative and capability in Analytical Thinking, explorative, creative and ‘out of-the-box’ thinking for emerging Technology creation.
Capable of performing detailed incident/issues assessment/troubleshooting for Root
Cause Analysis (RCA) and permanent resolution.
Understand and able to create/assist the overall system architecture, design, process/data flow, interfaces and system entity relationship
Familiar with Banking
