VASS is currently seeking a Project Manager to work in Malaysia or Singapore. This PM will work closely with key stakeholders internally within the delivery team and externally with the customer organization. They will have the responsibility of managing the project across the entire lifecycle from Preparation to Design & Specification to Implementation and finally the Testing and Post Go Live phases. You will work closely with senior project managers, crossfunctional teams, and stakeholders from other subsidiaries to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Development of project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Execution & Monitoring: Support the execution of project plans and monitor progress to ensure milestones are met.
  • Coordination: Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify and help mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project logs.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in managing stakeholder relationships and addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Compliance: Ensure project activities comply with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or similar discipline is required
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in project management (IT infrastructure or software projects is a plus).
  • Skills:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages relevant to the Asia Pacific region are a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is an asset.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willing to travel
