Finance Manager (Hybrid)

• Location: KL Gateway
• Working time: 9.30am - 5.30pm (HYBRID)
• Salary: Up till 10k
• Not too old or young candidates(unless relevant experience) to apply around 30s.

• 4+ years experience in Audit and / or Managing finance / Accounting Operations
• Good to have experience in both External and Internal, especially bonus for candidates with some kind of chartered accountant qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full spectrum of accounting for entities in Asia Pacific (inc. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and more to come), including finance operations, reporting, statutory requirements, audit and tax
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal control procedures and accuracy of the financial data
• Review and / or prepare financial reconciliations and analysis of various general ledger accounts
• Liaise with and support external stakeholders: auditors, tax agents, authorities, bankers, corporate secretary, payroll provider, accounting third-party service providers
• Drive improvement projects and setup new Finance processes and systems
• Support cash flow monitoring and management, as well as cash optimisation initiatives
• Work with brand and operations teams for demand planning projections and FP&A
• Manage a team of Finance personnel and be the lead on all things Finance

Qualifications

- 4+ years experience in audit and / or managing finance / accounting operations

- Experience in commercial accounting setting is a plus

- Ability to understand B/S and P&L and have controlling over accounts and financials

- Detailed oriented with a strong sense of ownership over results and a good feel for numbers

- Hands-on, not afraid to dive deep into in systems and processes

- Concise and clear communicator, both written and verbal

- Strong ownership and entrepreneurial drive. A self-starter that takes initiative, is comfortable with ambiguity and is willing to get hands dirty, and a fast learner

- Proficient in data analytics and adept at using Excel and similar tools for quick, accurate data manipulation and analysis

- Thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

Experience or passion for DTC e-commerce brands and consumer products a plus
