Successful candidate would be offered fixed term employment of 2 years.

About the Job

Performs general ledger and financial reporting functions.

• Prepare journal entries in a timely manner.

• Prepare working files for quarterly closing purposes.

• Perform system inputs for allocated entities in HFM reporting tools for quarterly reporting purposes.

• Draft financial statements including statement of financial position, statement of comprehensive income, statement of changes in equity, statement of cash flows and notes to the financial statements.

• Perform analysis of financial information as and when required.

• Assist to prepare revenue and expenses analysis schedule to tax team for tax computation purpose.

• Assist to prepare lease analysis schedule for quarter closing purposes.

• Assist to prepare contract assets/liabilities schedule for quarter closing purposes.

• Perform balance sheet review and clean-up as and when required.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulations, accounting policies and procedures.

• Liaise with external auditors as and when required.

• Work is generally reviewed at completion for accuracy and soundness.

• Support any related ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, professional qualification or equivalent with more than 3.3 CGPA.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a proactive approach.

• Experience in audit, financial reporting, and/or Oracle system will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Able to work independently and as part of the team.

• Fluent in English.

• Detail-oriented.

• Able to manage tight deadlines.

• Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with stakeholders on relevant issues.
