Senior Full Stack Developer

The Role

**note: This role is open for one of the leading Bank's in Malaysia which provides attractive compensation package as well as good benefits - Visa provided for expats already residing in Malaysia.

• Perform web development and J2EE software development for the banking system
• Analyze changes and impacts on existing systems, adhering to good coding standards
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Design programs for new projects or enhancements to existing programs
• Write specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity
• Create appropriate documentation, including program code and technical documentation
• Prepare test scenarios and conduct unit and system tests
• Conduct code reviews for each release
• Ensure test accuracy and completeness for smooth implementation
• Ensure all documentation, processes, and methodologies used in various phases of system development, implementation, and production system support comply with the Group's standards
• Strong communication skills required for interaction with business owners
• Provide guidance and coach junior developers on their development tasks
• Good interpersonal, persuasion, and leadership skills with the ability to drive work progress
• Able to understand and relate to business requirements and business drivers
• Involved across the components in the full technology stack (full stack)

Ideal Profile

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in system software development in a similar capacity
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Knowledge of banking systems is a plus
• Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
• Strong analytical, systematic thinking, and methodical organization skills
• Ability to stay focused, take on responsibilities, and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Independent, proactive, and service-oriented
• Pleasant personality with the ability to work as a team player
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
• Experience in a multinational environment and working with multi-country users is desirable but not mandatory
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, REACT, Bootstrap, HTML5
• Experience with open platform technologies like Java, JSP, Servlets, J2EE, EJB, Spring MVC, and Web Services
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of JBOSS, IBM WebSphere MQ, JSON, XML, MSSQL, Workflow Engine, RHPAM, and Jasper Report is a plus
• Full-stack development experience is highly desirable
