JOB DESCRIPTION:

1) To manage the overall day-to-day project management and project construction activities to schedule time, budget cost and highest quality standards. The position involves all phase of real estate development including site recommendation/selection/control, due diligence, predevelopment, assist in securing funding for projects finance, construction management, planning and community outreach.

2) To feasibility studies for new projects. Research and compile information for presentation to top management and stakeholders.

3) Assist in overall planning, coordination and reviewing of conceptual and design development at various stages to meet objectives.

4) Able to build and sustain good rapport and relationship with various levels of authorities, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure all works and services comply with technical specifications and authorities requirements.

5) To develop and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all site involved in the project.

6) To coordinate meetings, including travel arrangement and expense report.

7) To maintain, co-ordinate, organize and implement site activities.

8) Ensure adherence to deadlines.

9) To be well verse in the project progress according to contract requirement and cash flow projection.

10) To assist contract department to appoint suitable contractor for the sub-contracting scope of work. To attend to client-consultant meetings and site meetings and sub-con coordination meeting, and to prepare monthly report.

11) To liaise with client, consultant and relevant authority during the course of construction. Attend client/consultant site meeting. Co-ordinate with consultant, responsible to settle/solve the entire site problem.

12) To assist in progress claims and expedite payment of progress claim. To be fully responsible for procurement of all materials to ensure smooth operation on site. To prepare work program and progress report.

13) To report and up-date the Management on project progress. to undertake other duties assigned or directed by the superior from time to time. To liaise with office's QS and purchasing department on the appointment of sub-contractor, supply or procurement of materials, plants and machinery required.

14) To conduct sub-contractor meeting weekly, site staff meeting fortnightly and update the latest information.

15) To undertake any assignment to be given by management from time to time as decided by the management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Architecture, Building Tech, Project Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in coordinating and monitoring of site works in accordance with ISO requirements and contractual specifications.
  • Punctuality, teamwork with an eye for detail is essential
