Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible in managing the Buku Stock (government-controlled items)
- Maintain inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory including creating and updating inventory master data, as well as, updating inventory movement in a timely manner;
- Verify and match purchase orders, good receipt notes/delivery orders and invoices and other inventory-related documents;
- Monitor inventory expiry and suggest solutions for damaged or near-to-expiring products in the Retail Outlets;
- Responsible to negotiate prices with the supplier in the interest for the company.
- Responsible for the approved selling price of each item and keeping the internal stakeholder updated on the latest pricing.
- Ensure product complies with importing legal & regulatory requirements & review quality of purchased products.
- Monitor stocks levels and place orders as needed.
- Responsible for entering order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery meanwhile keeping the internal stakeholder updated on the status of the order.
- Coordinate with warehouse / retail team to ensure proper storage.
- Maintain accurate records of purchased products, certification, delivery information and invoices.
- Ensure all product photos, videos & marketing materials are updated in internal database.
- Provide trade data and product information to sales team (B2B, B2C, export and e-commerce).
- Response to ad-hoc queries and request from sales team.
- Including any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform price tagging and ensure accuracy.
- Achieving sales, delivering quality class customer service and operations excellence.
- Promote products in the retail outlet.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure and maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene.
- Perform cashiering duties including customer exchanges and refunds and promoting customer loyalty programme during the checkout process.
- Handle customer enquiry and order fulfilment processes for customers in retail outlet.
- Pick & pack goods for E-COM delivery orders.
- Responsible to collect the returned goods delivered by the delivery driver and report to the Sales Coordinator.
- Engage in innovation and productivity initiatives for the retail outlet to drive seamless customer experience.
- Assist in retail outlet opening and closing including participating in the cashier balancing process.
- Replenish and arrange merchandise according to Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
