Responsibilities:
- Handle payroll processing, ad hoc payouts, employee's claims etc. in timely manner
- Update employee records, attendance, leaves, and check overtime in the payroll system
- Update employees’ database, personal information and movements records (e.g. appointments, confirmation, transfers, promotions, cessation of service, etc.) in system
- Administer employee benefits, medical insurance, and other welfare programs
- Assist Talent Acquisition team for recruitment initiatives
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and training programs that support the development of our employees
- Support the performance review process and employee engagement activities
- Manage employee disciplinary processes in accordance with the company policies and legal requirements
- Support ISO Audit and external audit annually and other administrative tasks
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 - 7 year of relevant working experience as HR generalist
- Familiarity with HR software and payroll systems and those with experience in using Worksy system will be an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Independent, reliable and meticulous in work approach
- Ability to manage confidential information and able to work independently
- Good time management capabilities and high adaptability
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
