Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Coordinate and work with project consultants and contractor from project inception to completion.
- Supervise, manage and report to Deputy Director on the project progression, and ensure work progress of the ongoing project in accordance to works programme, contract and specification.
- Participate in the planning and designing stage with internal design team and project consultant.
- Participate and assess project(s) feasibility and viability study, tendering and award of projects with cost and contract department.
- Coordinate and liaise with authorities for all submission and approval within timeframe for land related matter, planning approval, building plan and occupation permit.
- Coordinate updates to project guidelines based on feedback from all sources including the project post occupancy review process.
- Determine resources needed (manpower, equipment and materials) from project start to finish with full attention to budgetary limitations.
- Monitor manpower and work progress at project site to ensure work is done according to construction drawings and work schedule; ensure quality and work safety requirements are met.
- Track changes to the design and/or renovation works and adjusting work schedule accordingly.
- Preparation and submission of relevant project documents required by authorities
- Conduct regular site meetings with internal team and contractors to follow-up on project/work progress; demand necessary action(s) required to ensure project deadlines and requirements are met at all times.
- Conduct handover quality control inspection at planned intervals and prepare inspection report; ensure defects/non-conformance identified are rectified
Requirements:
- Degree in Building / Architecture / Engineering or equivalent.
- 7 to 8 years working experience in construction and property development industry
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate capability of project management from all rounded perspective.
- Strong knowledge and understanding in the project management life cycle, i.e. feasibility study to project closure i.e. CCC, VP, DLP.
- Knowledge in reviewing technical drawings.
- Knowledge in Strata Management.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and leadership qualities to lead and motivate the project team to achieve shared objectives for the projects.
- Good team player with the ability to multi-task and be detailed and quality oriented.
