The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Manager will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and seamless supply chain operations within the context of equipment integration manufacturing/business. This position involves managing the complete supply chain, from the procurement of raw materials/components to final product delivery, while streamlining procedures to maximize cost effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the organization's objectives, focusing on equipment integration business.
  • Identify and onboard reliable suppliers, negotiating terms and agreements to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards. Establish strong relationships with vendors and monitor their performance, addressing any issues that may arise. Maintain a supplier performance in deliveries, quality, price and responsiveness.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of raw materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing. Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demands. Ownership of KPI to meet targets in inventory turn and material clean to build.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards. Implement best practices, technological solutions, and automation where applicable.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions. Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes that could impact the supply chain.
  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with a minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred with people management experience, and work experience in contract manufacturing environment.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Oracle, or similar systems (eg. SAP).
  • Preferred with familiarity with Rapid Response (RR), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and e-procurement platforms/tools.
