Job Requirements

  • At least a recognized Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the Construction Industry. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proactive and willing-to-learn attitude.
  • Independent with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good numerical skills, and sharp analytical thinking.
  • Possess own transport & willing to travel outstation.

Job Descriptions

  • Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
  • Provide and demonstrate leadership and commitment to the overall implementation of the QESH Management System in the department.
  • Take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH Management System in the department.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health in own specific area of work/responsibilities.
  • Ensure that the QESH Management System conforms to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards in the department.
  • Promote the use of process approach, risk-based thinking, and life cycle perspective in the organization.
  • Promote customer focus and improvement in the department.
  • Comply with clients and applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Determine risks, and opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
  • Report on the performance of the QESH Management System including QESH performance in the department to the Top Management.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure the integration of equipment and its installations in accordance with the design, drawings, and specifications.
  • Lead on M&E testing and commissioning of the project and review all testing and approval testing data.
  • Compile O&M manuals including guarantees, warranties, and certificates from manufacturers and fabricators for final submission.
  • Monitor closely all M&E works on site and highlight any discrepancies with others trades.
  • Comply with legal and other requirements that apply to the organization
  • Study project requirements, monitor site schedule and work progress
  • Check and coordinate consultant's design drawings, work with consultants and sub-contractors
  • Assist on-site and check all drawings are prepared and implemented
  • Ensure M&E work and materials are in accordance with the contract and drawing specifications;
  • Assist in resource planning, and machinery allocation on a day-to-day basis to ensure works at the site are carried out in a timely manner
  • Attend site meetings and assist in project supervision, documentation, and reporting.
  • Organize site inspection, testing and commissioning, and the authority's inspection.
  • Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
