Responsibility:

  • Control and monitoring of all purchase items for new project to ensure targeted period achieved.
  • Reviewing, comparing, analyzing quotations & negotiate with suppliers
  • Prepare monthly Purchasing progress reports by providing root cause analysis and actions plan.
  • Control yearly cost down activities with suppliers.
  • Monitor Suppliers Management and required documentations such as NDA ,Purchase Agreement & AVL
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Review, develop and execute procurement procedures; ensure procurement practices are complied with relevant guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure procurement practices had been carried out efficiently, cost effective and transparent
  • Ensuring all material items are meeting the required quality standards and specifications
  • Take lead, oversee and manage the daily operation of purchasing and procurement activity with good market and commercial awareness
  • Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, pricing, timelines and others
  • Develop metrics to measure and improve vendors’ performance
  • Review the progress of function’s activities and initiate corrective actions as required

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Degree and above.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Fluent in English
  • Hardworking and quick learning.
