Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and fulfil interactions target per quarter with healthcare professionals, including pathologists, lab scientific officer, general practitioner, etc to understand their diagnostic needs and provide support and education on appropriate testing.
  • Gather insights through field engagement, spending 50% of the time in the field, to aid in the development of local diagnostic strategies and identify barriers and unmet needs in diagnostics testing.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for key stakeholders, including Pathologists (Chemical pathologist, molecular hematopathologist, radiologist), to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships, understand their diagnostic challenges, and provide necessary support and resources.
  • Co-lead screening projects for the Cardiovascular, Renal, and Metabolism (CVRM) and Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) therapeutic areas, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and alignment with diagnostic strategies.
  • Lead the Research and Development Diagnostic (RD Dx) projects, taking ownership of planning, execution, and tracking of diagnostic initiatives to support the development and delivery of innovative diagnostic solutions.
  • Act as the deputy local MI lead to support and coordinate medical information activities, triage and assign medical information requests from external parties, and ensure accurate and timely responses through the Global Medical Information Platform (GMIP).
  • Take the lead in managing the Diagnostic Dashboard for both the Oncology Business Unit (OBU) and BioPharmaceuticals Business Unit (BBU), overseeing the tracking and reporting of diagnostic data, monitoring the number and performance of testing, and ensuring timely, high-quality in-market companion diagnostics and testing solutions.

Essential Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree; preferably an advanced degree in health sciences, life sciences or biomedical sciences.
  • The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of effectively engaging with vendors, doctors, hospital labs, pathologists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of the diagnostics technologies e.g., biochemistry test, urine test, IHC, etc. Preferably with hands on experience in chemical, histopathology lab or molecular laboratory.
  • Understanding of primary care test, biochemistry test, molecular diagnostic, and clinical testing landscape especially in primary care area. Experience in clinical diagnostic and pharmaceutical company will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to communicate and build strong collaborative relationships with a broad base of external customers including patients, prescribers, payers, providers, and thorough knowledge of diagnostic test regulatory environment (preferred)
