KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for preparing letters for various employment-related matters. Ensure employee personal files & records are properly filed, maintained, and updated.
  • Update & maintain the personnel data in the system.
  • Keep track of employee’s employment status (i.e., confirmation, resignation, extension of probation etc.)
  • Initiate the confirmation procedure, including requesting for performance review form from the District Manager, preparing of letter, activation on the Healthmetrics & staff purchase card etc.
  • Responsible for employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Conduct induction & briefing sessions for retail staff
  • Responsible for leave management including checking on attendance & overtime (OT) and responding to all queries on leave matters
  • Monthly payroll processing for retail stores.
  • Assist in the recruitment process including preparing job descriptions and posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Assist in HRDF grant application and liaise with HRDF on application status. Ensure training records such as attendance, training outline etc are properly documented and well maintained.
  • Support in employee engagement activities and HR programs, including career fairs, festive celebrations etc.
  • Conduct monthly retail walks and assessments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Update medical claims into Healthmetric and cross-check monthly invoices.
  • Managed office cleaning services including overseeing cleaner’s performance, preparing duty roster, checking monthly invoices, and liaising with the cleaning company.
  • Any other duties as assigned from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resource Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience as HR Generalist
  • Good in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of the HR2000 payroll system will be an additional advantage.
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and be able to adapt to the changes in priorities and demands
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Pleasant personality
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to meet deadlines & prioritize urgent tasks
  • Willing to work in Damansara Heights
