  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Aerospace/Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 8 years working experience in a calibration and/or tool design & fabrication field. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
  • Experience working in an aviation MRO is a strong advantage for this position
  • Prior leadership experience in leading a team is desired
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO17025 Calibration, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) is essential for this role
  • Strong knowledge of measurement system, propagation of measurement uncertainty, interpretation of measurement requirements is essential for this role
  • Knowledge and practical experience in CMM Programming and Measurement will be advantageous for this role
  • Minimum Lean / 6-Sigma Green Belt Certification backed with actual project implementation using the DMAIC framework, evident of sound statistical knowledge and with a substantial cost saving achievement
  • Strong knowledge of tool design and fabrication life cycle is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and other language will be added advantage
  • Provide guidance and support to the team towards meeting the section, departmental and company goals
  • Meeting and exceeding the calibration Turn-around-Time (TAT) and certificate error threshold for all internal calibration as agreed with Production
  • Drive digitalization and automation efforts in calibration process and management
  • MSA Principal Team member that provide guidance and direction for all MSA failures
  • Improve competency of ASSB’s MSA team through training, benchmarking and cross learning with our shareholders
  • Standardization of measurement system strategy based on criticality of measurement, suitability of the equipment & gauges and risk of uncertainty propagation
  • Definition of a measurement system strategy that is consistent and meeting to OEM & customer requirements for all new product introduction (NPI)
  • Build a team of competent CMM Programmers to create and maintain all Zeiss and Mitutoyo Programs for Production, Calibration, Known Value Parts and R&D purposes
  • Responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of all new and duplicate SSE tool
  • Drive Poka Yoke opportunities in the current pool of SSE tool
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
