Purpose of the position

To support the department head on daily finance, account, treasury, taxation, Company Secretary, audit and SST work tasks and to ensure effective completion on time for the department.

Key responsibilities & duties
  • Responsible on day to day finance, accounts, treasury, taxation, audit, company secretary and operations task.
  • Ensured all account function completed according to SOP and regulatory requirement (ie. Inventory, fixed assets management, account receivable, account payable, claims, bank reconciliation, BA / FCTL documents for financing, tax submission and monthly instalment for the group, etc).
  • Able to maintain full set of accounts on time according to department SOP.
  • Prepare accounts with audit schedule for audit and liaising with the auditor as required,
  • Monitoring and managing daily cash flow and monthly operating cash flow of the group.
  • Verification the journal entry accordingly.
  • Prepared monthly account management report with financial ratio and within the dateline.
  • Financial Analyst and commentary.
  • Conduct stock count on quarterly and financial year end and audit to subsidiary as and when require by the HOD.
  • Prepare Treasury Department Quality Objective Monthly Report for ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
  • Prepare correspondence letter with bank, auditor, income tax, Custom, bank application from, TT Form and any others form for daily operations purposes as and when required by HOD
  • Prepare and coordinate presentation from various teams, obtain copies and consolidate them in presentation for the head as required
  • Assist in corporate exercise / GST audit / income tax audit
  • Assist in compile consolidation of group accounts
  • Suggest and propose for improvement on the department related process flow.
  • Handle ad hoc assignment and any issues that may arise from time to time as requested by management.

Academic or trade qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Business or Partial Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent

Work experience and skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication skills, including multiple languages.
  • The ability to interact successfully across cultures.
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills and strong judgment and decision-making.
  • High energy with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast pace environment.
  • Demonstrate a pro-active work ethic and ability to get thing done.
  • *Do not mind to work extra mileage and highly commitment and responsibility to work.
  • Strong proficiency in Power Point, Ms Excel, Ms. Word and other similar applications.

Able to meet tight deadlines.
