Incora is seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations across 8 countries and 11 entities in the Asia-Pacific region. Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and company policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to regional and global management.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting across all countries in the region.

Cash Flow and Working Capital Management:

  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements for the region, optimizing the use of resources and ensuring sufficient liquidity.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to enhance cash flow management.
  • Implement strategies to improve the region's working capital cycle and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).

Compliance and Internal Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with all financial, tax, and regulatory requirements across the APAC region.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets, ensuring financial integrity and consistency with global policies
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.

Financial Systems and Process Improvement:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and tools to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify and lead improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations and reduce costs.
  • Ensure alignment of regional financial processes with global standards and best practices.

Business Partnering and Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a strategic business partner to regional management, providing financial insights and guidance to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, operations) to understand business needs and provide financial support.
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts, and strategies to regional and corporate stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals across the APAC region, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.
  • Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team alignment with regional and global goals.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA)
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong understanding of APAC regional financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Experience in leading a finance team in a shared service environment preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, FP&A, and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing cross-border teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with tight timelines in a dynamic environment.
