Job Description :-
- Conduct thorough data compilation for Malaysian business operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in analysis to facilitate on-time submissions.
- Monitor the actual financial performance of individual stores and overall Malaysian business, comparing results against budget targets.
- Assist in preparing and delivering monthly Business Review meeting presentations, providing key insights and analysis.
- Lead monthly Opex reviews with relevant budget owners, offering valuable insights to optimize operational expenses.
- Monitor and analyze actual expenses versus budget allocations, identifying variances and providing recommendations for cost control.
- Support financial reporting for Malaysian statutory accounts, including accounting, auditing, and taxation compliance.
- Managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients, focusing on implementing tax strategies that align with the client's business objectives
- Address financial issues that arise in day-to-day business operations, offering solutions and implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in data management tasks to ensure accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of company information.
- Provide support to employees regarding personal claims inquiries, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Job Requirements:-
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in tax compliance or a related field, ideally with experience working in a professional services setting.
- Strong analytical and influencing skills to communicate effectively across all levels and work well across teams within the organization.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Reasonably acceptable skill in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Office location near LRT/KTM Station.
