Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Project Lead with expertise in learning technologies to spearhead our projects involving Learning Management Systems (LMS), educational software, and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HRIS, IT, HR, or Learning & Development and possess proven project management experience, including handling stakeholders and creating detailed project plans such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation and optimization of LMS, learning software, and apps within the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of learning technology projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Learning & Development, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage stakeholders across different levels, keeping them informed of progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Create detailed project plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with relevant learning technology standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to learning platforms and work with IT teams to resolve them.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on using learning technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing learning technologies (e.g., LMS, eLearning platforms, apps).
- Strong project management experience, including experience managing stakeholders and developing project plans (e.g., WBS).
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of learning and development processes and trends.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Familiarity with instructional design, adult learning theories, or eLearning best practices.
- Experience in change management related to learning technology projects.
