Malaysia Market Head

We are the leading transportation logistics industry and searching for the candidate with rich experience in smart supply chain solution. The Company is expanding to Southeast Asia to accelerate the implementing our successful business model. As a key member of the Company of Malaysia, you will report to the Regional Office. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and coordinating the activities and developing the Company business in Malaysia. You will also ensure the good roll-out of operations in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be the key point of contact for our teams and external stakeholders, taking part in the enhancement of the project designs and the management of a team.

Your responsibilities:

• Management: You will manage the Malaysia office, including but not limited to Administrative, Operations, Business Development. You will provide strong leadership to the Malaysia office in achieving our business development plan, and corporate strategic objectives and motivate the team to achieve annual targets by assisting with the designing and implementing strong growth strategy plans for Malaysia without compromising on the qualities of our output.

• Project management: Set up, plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of project activities, build, train, and manage local teams based in Malaysia, control quality of implementation, improve proceedings, coordinate the implementation of impact monitoring, develop and manage project budgets, update reporting by fostering cross- country collaboration.

• Monitoring: Monitor project outputs and ensure the implementation, coordination and monitoring of project impacts, and be responsible for the resource management of the projects.

• Project development: Develop a strategic plan for new and existing projects in Malaysia, identifying and pursuing opportunities to scale projects or new projects opportunities. Be accountable for project reporting and actively lead in the development of existing partners, and co-operatives and fosters new partnerships.

• Team management: management of team members in the country, leading potential recruitments by adhering to Group HR policies, onboarding of new employee(s) in coordination with the HR department, coaching and performance management to create a best-in-class team in the region.

• Business Management: Expand market share in Malaysia within targeted market segments.

• Investor Management: Manage the investor relationship and meet the requirements from the investors and board in Malaysia

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 8-10 years or above of experience in business development roles and managerial role.
• Sound understanding of the Malaysia business landscape
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Being proficient in minimum two languages and English is a must. The second language can be either Chinese or Malay or other Asian languages.
