Position Summary

Support the Stakeholder Management (SHM) function in all internal and external communication matters, by coordinating with the various government officials, authorities on latest policy changes and fortifying relationship with other PACs in the region and various Divisions within the Company to ensure a wholesome and effective stakeholder management and appropriate plans are in place for a smooth and efficient operations.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Engagement – External Affairs

Assist in SHM activities with relevant stakeholders, specifically in Sabah which are likely to affect KPOC’s operations to build and maintain close relationship.

2. Communication/Engagement – Internal Affairs

Assist in carrying out of SHM integrated communication plan which is aligned with KPOC’s business strategy to the various levels in the organization in keeping the teams abreast on current developments. Carry out activities in enhancing communications at all levels.

3. Communication/Engagement – Internal Affairs

Update the communication platforms e.g. the Hub, central email etc. including introduction of new communication tools and ways of working to increase effectiveness amongst the various Divisions and carry out internal programs that will enhance communications at all levels in shaping KPOC’s culture.

4. Communication – Internal Affairs

Support the SHM and Leadership Team on issues which may have an impact on KPOC operations including the latest requirements by the relevant authorities and government agencies.

5. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Assist in approved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. Retain good relationship with Stakeholders and support collaborative efforts on activities where possible.

6. Records Management

Maintain up-to-date records of correspondence and engagements, including stakeholders profiling.

7. Strategic Initiatives

Assist in special identified projects in boosting the reputation of the Company (external) as well as organizing value-adding events e.g. Corporate-level engagement, pulse survey etc. (internal).

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or equivalent grading. Preferably core study in Mass Communication / Business.

2. Applicants must be 25 years old or younger and have not secured a permanent position in the field that they have studied.

3. Experience in coordinating events, involved in student council activities, involved in humanitarian/outreach activities during tertiary level, is an advantage.

4. Self-starter and demonstrates high degree of personal initiative, drive, and desire to come up with new business targeted creative solutions.

5. Proven skills to deliver under pressure.

6. Good command of English written and spoken.

7. Priority to Sabahan applicants.
