About the Role

The position drives the delivery of a 3-year delivery roadmap in collaboration with the GMM programme delivery and governance functions.
This position is a stakeholder facing role and requires establishing and manage expectations within the business and drive the IT teams to achieve those expectations to a high standard measured through:

• On time, on budget with quality delivery.
• Proper governance in place for project delivery.
• Right capabilities and capacity in place for optimum delivery.

Delivery Execution

• Accountable for delivery of projects from Initiation to Closure phase, including developing project estimations.
• Manage all project risks, issues, and dependencies for resolution that may be impediment to achieving project delivery outcome.
• Complete project implementation (either from start or rescuing mid-flight troubled projects) within committed time, scope, cost, quality, and local/group project delivery governance standards.
• Lead, facilitate and chair project discussions and meeting. Follow up with team members as required to complete action plans identified.
• Prepare and drive Steering Committee Meeting, where committee members may consist of Senior Leadership Team (EXCO) members.
• Manage resources assigned to projects to achieve project delivery outcome.
  

Delivery Governance & Performance management

• Support Head of Delivery & Governance to define and develop minimum delivery standards to be adopted across GMM.
• Track and monitor compliance to adoption of delivery standards.
• Manage resolution of delivery standards and compliance gaps in existing practices across GMM.
• Perform QA/stage gate reviews to ensure deliverables are of required GMM and Group standards.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and able to use judgement to accurately prioritize for resolution management according to objectives of projects and enterprise.
• Create and share standards, tools, best practices, principles for cost, quality and productivity improvements.
