Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Engineering Consultant with expertise in renewable energy systems, particularly in Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and implement electrical systems, focusing on Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) installations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and detailed design for solar energy systems.
- Provide technical oversight and advice on the integration of photovoltaic systems with the existing electrical grid infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local and international standards for solar energy systems (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
- Perform load flow analysis, voltage regulation studies, and grid impact assessments related to GCPV projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, including energy yield forecasts, electrical diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Manage and coordinate with on-site teams for the installation, commissioning, and testing of solar PV systems.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate solar components, inverters, and grid protection devices.
- Support in project documentation, including permits, inspections, and certifications.
- Provide ongoing operational and maintenance support for installed GCPV systems, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in renewable energy technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Proven experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) systems.
- Solid understanding of electrical grid systems, grid integration, and renewable energy.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 61730, NEC, IEEE 1547).
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, PVsyst).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
