Our client is an investment holding company which specializes in the construction and engineering industry. They are listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee overall Group consolidated financial statements and statutory financial reports in compliance with the Group’s accounting policies and procedures, applicable approved accounting standards, Bursa requirements and statutory requirements.
- Manage tax computation, tax planning and tax compliance.
- Liaise with the Board of Directors, bankers, auditors (internal and external), tax agents, company secretary and local authorities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Must be registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
- 5 years of working experience, preferably in listed companies and group of companies in the property and construction industries.
- Possess knowledge and experience in accounting standards, income tax and SST legislation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, planning and organising, problem-solving and analytical skills.
