- Have adequate knowledge of various drinks and foods in stock

- Maintain professional relationship with guests, applying caution and respect
- Clear table when guests are done with the food or drinks for maintenance of clean environment
- Could also give a farewell greeting to guests at the end of their stay.
- Relevant learning or training, such as a diploma in hospitality, catering, or culinary arts
- Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
- An apprenticeship with a butler or experience as a footman or under footman
- Knowledge about wines, cookery, and dining protocols
- Efficient multitasking and organizational skills
- Prior experience as a butler in either the hospitality or catering/event planning industry or as a domestic butler
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
