  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Semi Hermatics Engineering Sdn Bhd, based in Sarawak, Malaysia, has been manufacturing Welding Habitat Systems for the oil and gas industry since 2013. Specializing in Welding Habitat Systems, we provide rental services for hot work activities for offshore and onshore facilities. Our clients include PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN BHD, Exxon Mobil, and Talisman Energy, among others. The Welding Habitat Systems are designed to allow hot work activities without the need for facility shutdowns, ensuring safety and productivity.

Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Habitat Technician at Semi Hermatics Engineering Sdn Bhd. The Habitat Technician will be responsible for setting up and maintaining Welding Habitat Systems, conducting safety inspections, and providing technical support for hot work activities. Some work will be based in Sarawak, Malaysia, with flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications
  • Experience at least 1 year in setup of Welding Habitat Systems
  • Knowledge of safety protocols for hot work activities
  • SPM & Above
  • Fully Covid-19 vaccination with booster
  • Age of 19 to 35 years old
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
  • Relevant certification or diploma in engineering or related field
