Our client, located in the East is seeking a highly experienced a HR Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape and implement key HR processes from recruitment to employer branding, training, and compensation policies. Reporting directly to the Regional Director and functionally to the Global Head of HR, you will be instrumental in ensuring that Human Capital is managed consistently with the business strategy.

What you'll do:

As a Regional HR Manager, your role will be pivotal in shaping the human resources landscape. You will work closely with various stakeholders including the Regional Director, Country Managers, local HR responsible, and leadership teams. Your expertise will be crucial in driving recruitment initiatives, analysing employee engagement drivers, building relationships with managers, ensuring legal compliance in all labour contractual aspects, among other responsibilities. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • Drive recruitment initiatives and assist line managers and country managers with interview processes
  • Analyze employees' engagement drivers and launch specific programs addressed to reinforce employees' participation and involvement
  • Build relationships with managers and leaders to optimize team performance and engagement acting as a coach to support them through the management of complex issues
  • Guarantee the creation of offer/contract letters of employment and associated documents as well as onboarding and induction of new employees
  • Ensure the legal compliance of all labor contractual aspects with regards to multi-state and federal laws of employment, having also regard to work health and safety aspects and compliance
  • Assist and guide in the legal compliance issues concerning employment management, recruitment, performance management and end of employment

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the Human Resources field. With over 8 years of experience under your belt, including 2 years in leadership roles, you have developed an in-depth understanding of HR best practices within Malaysia .Your strong change management competencies coupled with your ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company make you a strong contender for this role. Your leadership and influencing skills, as well as your active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, will be key to your success in this position.

  • 8+ years experience in the Human Resources field with 2+ years in leadership responsibilities
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
