Role: Senior Release Coordinator

The role will be collaborating closely with business & IT stakeholders to continuously bring efficiencies & effectiveness in a value driven supply chain.

Key responsibilities are as follow:

1. Overall release management

  • Support release manager in ensuring all releases (planned & unplanned) are managed according to defined operating model
  • Continuously review opportunities for improvements
  • Continuous stakeholder engagement & collaboration

2. Release planning

  • Define the release calendars, process & tools for release management
  • Initiate sessions to define, reviews & officiate release calendar & lifecycle
  • Support release versioning controls
  • Onboard of initiatives into release operating model
  • Create awareness of release operating model

3. Release execution & monitoring

  • Initiate release kick-off to communicate the release scope, process, responsibilities & timelines
  • Support & enhance environment to ensure reliability, observability & maintainability
  • Monitor release execution progress
  • Capture risks, issues & initiate problem solving sessions to enable release success
  • Initiate regular checkpoint as part of the release process

4. Release reporting

  • Support dashboard monitoring & reporting
  • Monitor, track & report release readiness, progress & closure
  • Report on improvements track
  • Report on release performance

Requirements

  1. Degree in related computer science principles
  2. 5 years experience in
  • Web / app release management operating model
  • IT software delivery (in-house team)
  • technical or functional related role in banking systems by in-house team
  1. Good knowledge in scrum techniques & artefacts, i..e DoD, stories, backlog, etc
  2. Able to resolve problems creatively
  3. Proficient in using GitHub, Jira & Confluence or related release management tools
  4. Strong interpersonal & collaborative skills as well as highly effective communication skills
  5. Organised, detail oriented & thorough
  6. Strong desire to help improve processes & mentor others
